If you have been following me for a while now you know how much I love to use organic skin and body care products. While searching for body scrub and oil I realised how many oils and scrubs are made from weird chemical products. Your body and skin go through so much all day long: stress, lack of hydration, sweat, pollution, and more, you should not make it endure more chemicals.
It has been a continuous struggle for me to find affordable skincare. Most of the organic scrub or oil I found where or super expensive or the quantity was ridiculous…
Until I found Aphrodyte.co.uk. They offer a full range of body product for a spa day at home. I personally use the oil and the scrub but they offer the full spa experience: candles, scrub, body oil, bath oil, body cream even crystals. Everything is 100% natural!
Body oil:
My favourite is Radiant and Sensual massage oil. It is quite liquidy so be careful when you pump it out. I personally mainly use it for my legs as I wear heels quite a lot.
Put it in the palm of your hand warm it up in between your hands and then begin from the foot and massage back up the leg. It is relaxing for you and your legs will be thankful.
Scrub:
I use the Harmonise and Balance collection for this one. You have to be careful when opening it to not spill oil. I recommend using a small spatula when you use it to mix well the oil and scrub. I absolutely love it because it is a “real” body scrub. What I mean by that is that you can feel the scrub. It is not a rough or harsh one at all but not a very gentle one either. I was so disappointed by all those gentle scrub that do not properly work.
This one is amazing. You will feel, after using it, like your skin is gently oiled by the product which leaves it smooth and shiny, ready to go out for those summer nights.
I tried to find cons for those products but for me, I have not found any: it is 100% organic, cruelty-free, vegan, made in the UK. Tiffany, the founder, is even looking into how to reuse the packaging. As the bottle is in glass and looks quite expensive I would love to be able to refill them or send it back to be reused. I will recycle them until a solution is found.
